Financial Assistance Programs
Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF)
Services are provided to participants who meet TANF eligibility requirements for Temporary Cash Assistance (TCA) or as a TANF Diversion Family (TDF) with treatment needs. Pre service groups, referrals and consultation with One-Stop Career Centers are used to identify TANF clients. Treatment services provided to TANF eligible clients are designed to meet one of the following criteria:
1.Provide services to needy families so that the child or children may be cared for in their own home or the home of relatives.
2.Promote job preparation, work or marriage
3.Prevent or reduce the incidence of out-of-wedlock pregnancies.
4.Encourage the formation and maintenance of two-parent families.Category #3
