HOPE Program
The HOPE Program assists homeless individuals experiencing a mental illness to become self sufficient by providing necessary services and supports. Treatment goals, services and objectives are primarily aimed at improving the individual's ability to function independently. All persons served are assigned a supportive housing specialist who will act as their advocate for the duration of the time they are enrolled in the program. Objectives are determined by the individual and the Supportive Housing Specialist. The specialist teaches direct skills and develops, identifies, links and coordinates all referrals to outside agencies. The HOPE Program is sponsored by a grant from Housing & Urban Development (HUD).
