Substance Abuse / Addiction Services
HIV Outreach & Intervention Program
The HIV program focuses on harm reduction for at-risk individuals who recognize the need for substance abuse services. This program provides early intervention services to persons exhibiting at risk behaviors, which could lead to becoming HIV seropositive. After pre-test counseling, persons may voluntarily submit to HIV testing. Some persons referred to the program have already tested HIV seropositive. The program provides assessment, Case Management, education, intervention, outreach and screening.
